About LRHS Band Booster

The LRHS Band Booster is a 501(3)(c) non-profit organization that supports the band program and is always in need of volunteers.

Volunteer Background Check Information

Band Boosters are comprised of any parent who has a student in the band program.

The Boosters helps to subsidize the costs of key items such as marching music, band technicians for marching, percussion and color guard assistance, props, and a music library, food and transportation as well as any projects outside the domain of the school district revenue. The boosters also provide physical and moral support to our bands by chaperoning trips, cheering from the stands and auditorium seats and much more.

Fundraisers

The LRHS Band Boosters work to provide opportunities for all members and their family members to raise money for the band. These fundraising events are made available to parents and students to raise funds for their students and to help defer the costs of participation in the band program. No individual is forced to work a fundraiser; however, all students are highly encouraged to participate in the numerous opportunities to raise money for themselves and the band! 

Example fundraisers throughout the year have included the Fruit Fundraiser, the Krispy Kreme Doughnut Fundraiser, the Snap Raise Fundraiser, and Car washes.
